Golden View Hotel - Chongqing

The location of this hotel is fantastic, situated near the central Liberation monument, it offers easy access to the city's main attractions. The Metro Station is conveniently close by, making it incredibly convenient for us to explore the city.

We highly recommend this hotel to all.

The location was perfect for exploring the city on foot, being near the central area. The room I stayed in was clean, spacious, and comfortable, providing a pleasant stay. the breakfast offered a wide variety of Chinese dishes, which was a great cultural experience.

The customer service at the hotel was poor. Some of the staff members were unfriendly, staring and sneering at guests, making them feel uncomfortable.

The hotel is conveniently located near the central Liberation monument and the Metro Station, making it easy to explore the city. the rooms in the hotel are spacious, providing ample space to relax. Some rooms even have a small balcony, offering a comfortable and enjoyable stay. the buffet breakfast in the hotel offers a wide selection of dishes, including both Western and local choices. the hotel staff, although not exceptional, provide decent service to ensure a satisfactory experience.

Some areas of improvement are needed in terms of service, as there were instances where guests had to make multiple calls for room amenities and toothbrushes.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The room was large, clean, and seemed like a suite. The hotel facilities were great, and the staff were amazingly helpful. The location was right in the center of the city, close to the central Liberation monument and the Metro Station. It was also conveniently near the harbour, making it easy to explore this city.

For us, it was ideal.

Great value for money hotel, located in an ideal area for exploring the city. the rooms were sparkling clean and the breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious dishes. We really appreciated the opportunity to taste so many different Chinese meals, and we also enjoyed the free coffee and toast that was offered. the staff was very friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcomed and at home.

Though the overall stay was pleasant, there were a couple of minor issues. the location of the hotel may not be convenient for those who are not familiar with the area, as it is tucked away on a side street.
